Brooke Rogers
Brooke Rogers, from Morehead City, North Carolina, is an alumni from The University of Georgia, with a BFA in Dance and a BA in Political Science. Brooke has taught children and adult dance classes for Atlanta Dance Central, Creative Movement and Dance, The Studio, Justice Elite Dance, and The Carolina Strut. She is currently a fitness trainer at AKT, but previously instructed dance cardio and strength classes at Crunch, The Studio, and Ramsey.
Brooke has trained in Jazz, Musical Theater, Contemporary, Lyrical, Modern, Ballet, Acrobatics, Tap, and Hip-Hop; she specializes in precision Jazz technique and dance-based conditioning. She is looking forward to performing with SIDEWAYS Contemporary Dance Company in the fall. Brooke has performed and choreographed in UGA’s Young Choreographers Series and performed in UGA’s Dance Company. She also competed at NDA Nationals with the UGA Red Hotz competitive dance team. Brooke has trained with former Rockettes and attended The Rockette Summer Intensive, and has interned for Joffrey Ballet School. Brooke strives to cultivate a positive and collaborative class environment that allows dancers to reach their full potential. She believes dance is for everyone and can’t wait to share her love for dance.
