Lisa Rohlfing
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Lisa is a third generation dancer who has been dancing since the age of three. With an entire family of dancers, dance teachers, and studio owners, she acquired a love for dance at a very young age. Studying all forms of dance, from a wide variety of teachers, she grew up dancing in the competition/convention circuit, receiving many top awards, titles, and scholarships. Under the direction of Robert Gilliam, Lisa went on tour with the dance company, Deus Vult, and toured the West Coast area and Canada. At the age of sixteen she began teaching and choreographing. Some of her credits include choreographing for the Portland Trailblazer Cheerleaders and Dance Team Princess Cruise Lines, Nike, Side One, Technofunk, Sebastian Hair, and Paul Michaels. Moving Southeast, she performed in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the 1996 Summer Olympics, held here, in Atlanta. Lisa has choreographed for numerous studios and dance companies throughout the Atlanta area. Receiving numerous awards for all of her choreography work, she has been recognized on a regional and national level. Her goal is to continue to promote and instill a positive dance experience for young dancers helping them develop their talents and dreams.
