Zack Olds

Brand new to the Atlanta area, Zack Olds is a professional actor, dancer, choreographer, model, singer, and instructor from Myrtle Beach, SC. Zack graduated from Coastal Carolina University with his BFA in Physical Theatre where he also trained heavily in Musical Theatre.

As someone who loves to learn and is a forever student, Zack has taken classes and absorbed all he can from notable professionals such as Lacey Schwimmer, Kent Boyd, Caroline Lewis-Jones, Adrian Lee, Melissa “MJ” Jackson, Richard Smith, and Nick Palmquist. In the theatre world, Zack has both performed and joined the creative teams at professional theaters across the southeast. His choreography can be seen on stage in full musicals, at dance and theatre competitions, in revue shows, and on screen. Not including several award-winning competition pieces, some notable choreography credits include Footloose, Frozen Jr., All Shook Up, Rock Of Ages, 9 to 5, and Treat People With Kindness (a music video project). Since 2019, he has taught at dance studios, children’s theaters, and high schools. Zack specializes in Musical Theatre, Jazz, Contemporary, Jazz Funk/Fusion, Improv, and Conditioning.

Zack spends his competition season as an adjudicator for Precision Arts Challenge. Some of Zack’s favorite theatre performance credits include Linus in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown(Atlantic Stage), Junior in Crazy For You(Coastal Carolina University), Billy Nolan in Carrie (Theatre of the Republic), Dove Puppeteer/Ensemble in Cinderella: Enchanted(Flat Rock Playhouse), and Deviser/Ensemble in two devised shows at CCU, Oneiric and Putt-Putt. As a film actor, his most noteworthy credits include being featured in season 4 of Stranger Things (Netflix) and Do Revenge(Netflix). Zack is thrilled to be joining the Core faculty this season!
